Our volunteers will be based at the Holy Trinity School and the surrounding area with the Anglican Diocese.

Some volunteers will work with the children on art, music, crafts and games.

Another group is made up of Canadian teachers who will provide the on-going training that the teachers in Lima need to grow their knowledge and skills.

We are seeking books to expand the Spanish language library for the school.

Donations will be used for books and supplies.  Suitable books in Spanish will also be gladly received.

School where the team will work

The Peruvian school year goes from April through December.
All Peruvians have the right to attend school from grades 1 to 12 by law. The government has created public schools to ensure it to those who are not able to pay high amounts to get an education. Many families, however, live on $1.00 a day. Even the public schools charge small registration fees and the children require books, school supplies and bus fares.
